Nima Girls arts College, Gozaria celebrated Sanskrit Saptah during August 19 to August 25, 2021 in a splendid fashion following the government initiative. As part of this the on-line quiz with regard to the divine Sanskrit literature was carried out in which as many as 135 students/individuals took part. On August 23. 2021 a Good Handwritings Competition was held with 39 participants.
During the book-exhibition of the Sanskrit classics in the college library on August 24, 2021 in-charge Principal of the college DR G.C.Barot introduced the visitors of the exhibition about the Sanskrit literature of the Vedic Period to the modern period. DR R.D.Vaghela spoke about the impact of Sanskrit literature on the modern literatures of many languages. DR. T.D.Taval revealed his ideas on the impact of the Sanskrit language on the other languages of the Indo-European group of languages. This sub-programme of the Sanskrit Saptah was prepared under the cooperation of the library department.
On August 25, 2021 a competition of chanting of the Sanskrit Verses and elocution competition was held in which 25 students of Semester III and V participated with extreme spirit. In this programme on the on-line platform DR Geetaba Chavda of M.N.College Visnagar carried out the duties of the chief guest and the principal speaker who imparted blessings to the students and explained the significance of Sanskrit in her scholarly lecture. This programme was anchored by DR T.R.Pandya and the technical aspects concerned with the E-lecture of DR Geetaba Chavda was handled by the college librarian Dr N.P.Prajapati.
