World Water Day & Annual Prize Distribution of NSS Unit Celebrated in NGAC, Gozaria
On March 24, 2026 the vibrant N.S.S. unit of Nima Girls Arts College, Gozaria zealously celebrated the World water Day and the annual prize distribution of the academic year 2025-2026. In view of March 22, globally celebrated as the World Water Day enthusiastic programme officer of the unit Dr. Harshaben M. Patel delivered an insightful lecture on WATER & GENDER, during which she guided the girl-students regarding the significance of water for living beings and about its protection and preservation. Prin. Dr. Dgharmendrasinh M. Vaghela also awakened the girl-students about the conservation of water by giving the mantra of WATER IS THE ELIXIR OF LIFE. During the programme the college Ladies Representative Payal Rabari and Rajavi Patel, member of the Student Literature Council also revealed their views regarding the significance of water.
As part of the Prize Distribution ceremony various prizes were distributed to the winners in the different regular activities of the academic year 2025-2026 and in the activities at the special annual camp at Dabhala this year. The inspiring prizes were rendered to the five selected volunteers of academic year2025-2026. In this way the said programme not only disseminated awareness about the preservation of water among the masses but also encouraged the participation of the volunteers in the NSS activities of the entire year.
