NGAC, Gozaria Organizes the State-level One Day Workshop
Nima Girls Arts College under the managing body of Shri Gozaria Kelavani Mandal organized a one-day State-level Workshop in collaboration with Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat, Education Department, Government of Gujarat on March 10,2026. The very meaningful title of the workshop was : THE ROLE OF AI in TRANSLATION INTO & FROM ENGLISH. Looking at the conspicuous significance rendered to the AI generative in all walks of life, the topic seems to be highly relevant. After the registration of the delegates from the other colleges, the inaugural ceremony was given true justice through the auspicious lighting of the lamp before the Goddess Mother. The patron of the workshop and the Commissioner , Higher Education , CEO, KCG, Education Department, Government of Gujarat conveyed his best wishes for the success of the workshop as he couldn’t ensure his presence because of his busy schedule. The inaugurator Dr. Maneklal M. Patel, the Vice-President of Shri Gozaria Kelavani Mandal advised the gathering, mostly comprising the rural girl students of the college, to take sufficient care while translating with the help of AI in view of its translation of the regional words in particular. The guest of honour and Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan- Prof K.C.Poriya stated that the challenge of using the latest scientific revolutions like the Artificial Intelligence Generative need to be accepted by the academia if we really wish to transform India into a developed nation by 2047 and for that the initiatives such workshops play a very decisive role. The chairman of the inaugural ceremony and the president of the college-managing body of Shri Gozaria Kelavani Mandal felt fully satisfied and asserted that the scientific revolution of AI has opened a number of horizons of the human cultivation in most of all the branches of activities from which academia can’t be at distance.
The key-note speaker Dr. Rakesh Damir from N.C.Bodiwala and Principal M.C.Desai Commerce College, Ahmedabad explained the academic uses of AI and prompt engineering to the gathering. Another speaker Dr. Anil Kapoor from Smt. R.R.H.Patel Mahila Arts College, Vijapur delivered about the role of AI based translations in view of the global communication. Dr. Reji Gorge from T.C.Arts and J.V.G. Trust Commerce College, Radhanpur fairly justified the topic given to him i.e. – Balancing Automation with Human Considerations in AI-based Translations. The very last speaker Dr. Maheshkumar Jani from B.P.B.A. and M.H.G. Commerce College Unjha delivered about how to safeguard the preservation of private and confidential data of the individuals in the age of the growing cybercrimes.
As many as 237 girl students of the college attentively participated in the workshop and felt nourished in the combined area of AI and translations. The entire workshop was anchored by Dr. Tusharkumar Pandya and the vote of thanks was rendered by Dr. Harshaben M.Patel.
