On 26 June, 2019 the vibrant NSS unit of Nima Girls Arts College, Gozaria started the weekly celebration of the campaign of freedom from addiction in the sense that there is a greater evidence of addiction found in the youthful generation of the nearby areas. In its very inauguration programme all the faculties of the college addressed the gathering regarding how the students can play a greater part in bringing about de-addiction in society through the door-to-door visits in the entire area as most of the NSS volunteers of the unit are commuting from the nearby rural areas. After carrying out their prescribed duties in their door-to-door dissemination of de-addiction, the volunteers shared their ideas with the POs and teachers of their subjects. On July 02, 2019 the closing ceremony of this weekly programme was held, during which Shree Mukeshbhai Limbachiya, the Headmaster in-charge of the sister concern KKPGHS, Gozaria in the adjoining block was invited as the chief guest who , in his scholarly lecture explained hoe de-addiction is the prime need of hour to constitute healthy social fabric.
