In the religious system of the Hindus the festival of Navratri speaks volumes the Goddess Mother Aadi-shakti in the form of the very cosmic energy of the entire universe. It is celebrated for the period of nine nights, on which nine different divine forms of the Goddess Mother are venerated heartily. Mostly in the Hindu religion such gods as Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, Lord Sooryadev and Goddess mother are worshipped heartily. In the very life of everybody the place of mother is quite superior to that of the bread-winner of the family i.e. the father. Mother is one of the causal antecedents of everybody under the sky, who imparts every aspect of civilized life in the offspring. In the same way the very veneration of the goddess mother is held significant.
