On March 11, 2022 the vibrant NSS unit, and the departments of Library and English of Nima Girls Arts College, Gozaria collaboratively arranged a programme of rendering social service to the really disadvantaged people under the title Standing By the Needy: A Step towards Humanity . In this programme mahant Shree Ranchhhoddas ji Bapu was invited as the guest of honour. Bapu, who is running a Home for the Aged at Motipura(Tintodan), expressed his feelings that relinquishment of the paternal love is a real dark spot on the great name of age-old Indian culture. It has led to the growing number of such Homes for the aged. He also added that although it is not a matter of pride for anybody to run a Home for the aged, it is the only place where the elderly ladies and gentlemen have preferred to live even in the disastrous days of Covid-19 only so as to keep their self-esteem intact. Bapu urged the gathering to be helpful in making such unfortunates reach the Jay- Prabu Ashram at Motipura(Tintodan). Shree J.N. Patel, trustee of Shree Gozaria Kelavani Mandal praised the such activities carried out by the NSS unit in collaboration with different NGOs and the entire college. The senior Programme Office Dr. Rajenrasinh ji Vaghela stated that the NSS unit aimed at covering a large number of beneficiaries and thereby to reach the individuals unto the last for the said purposes in the neighbouring villages. The ration-kits were distributed among the Physically Handicapped students suggested by the cluster educator of the concerned school Shree Chavda and the beneficiaries from the lower strata of society in Gozaria and the neighbouring Dhandhusan and Vasai villages. Bapu, Shree J.N. Patel and Rajubhai Patel from benevolent Dharamraja Parivar of Gozaria and another member of Shree Gozaria Kelavani Mandal- Shaileshbhai Patel distributed the ration kits to needy beneficiaries.
