As part of the activities of department of Sanskrit, a programme of appreciating Kalidasa’s celebrated poem Meghduta was arranged under the title ‘मेघदूत…अषाढ्स्य प्रथम दिवसे ‘ on July 03, 2019. This legendary poem was appreciated whole heartedly by Dr. G.C.Barot. DR S.G.Patel familiarized the students with the Hindi literary works based on this remarkable poem of DR D. M. Vaghela artistically carried out the comparative study between Meghduta and a Gujarati literary work Vasantvilas. DR.T.D.Raval inspired students for analyzing Nature and thereby made the programme quite effective.
