With regard to the occasion of ‘Premchand-jayanti’ department of Hindi , NGAC, Gozaria arranged an essay com[petition on the topic “Contribution of Premchand in Hindi Literature”. The only objective of this competition is to make students aware about literary works and life of Premchand ji and thereby to establish Munshi Premchand as a social reformer. All the participants expressed their critically original thoughts regarding the problems of dowry, poverty, patriarchy etc. in the various novels of Premchand ji and thereby emphasized the creator’s emphasis on how to get rid of such evils. all essays collected were examined by the department of Hindi. ‘
