Nima Girls Arts College was established by Shree Gozaria Kelavani Mandal 03 July, 1997. In this HEI the education of the subjects of Arts faculty such as English, Hindi, Gujarati and Sanskrit is imparted as Core Compulsory papers and Hindi, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Psychology and Sociology are offered as the Core Elective papers till this day. Shree Gozaria Kelavani Mandal is a philanthropic, generous and visionary social group which was established in the year 1937. Initially, it was started by the considerable donation from Surat-based Jari-industrialist firm under the name of Sheth Shree Patel Lalbhai and Somabhai’s firm. The first school was started by Shree Gozaria Kelavani Mandal in 1937 under the name of “The A.V. High-school”, i.e., M.K.Patel High-school and Smt. A.S.J.Patel Higher Secondary of today. Before 1997, there were many higher secondary schools in villages surrounding Gozaria, but students were greatly dependent on the HEIs in the nearby towns- Mansa, Pilvai and Visnagar and the district head quarter Mehsana for the higher education. In the second half of 1980s and the first half of 1990s some incidents of social defamation of the families of students and thereby of the entire town of Gozaria led towards  the thought of  establishment of an HEI , especially for girls as the need of hour in those days.  Initially the college was started in the campus of today’s K.K.Patel Girls Higher Secondary School in the year 1997.

The separate building came into being from the considerable donation from the renowned industrialist representing North Gujarat, namely Karsanbhai K.Patel, associated with the Nirma Group of industries. The college building was inaugurated by renowned selfless constructive worker and social reformer of the local region, in the year 1996 and thus it laid the foundation of higher education in this rural area of North Gujarat with a view to providing safe and sane higher education to girls of all the sections of society irrespective of class, creed and religion.

• The institute is about to complete 25 glorious years of its inception in the year 2022 and also to celebrate the Silver jubilee then.
• NAAC accredited with “B” Grade in 1^st Cycle with 2.44 CGPA in March, 2011.
• A strong, disciplined faculty team in which all the nine permanent faculty members are the PhD. holders .
• Faculty members regularly participate in state, national and international seminars and conferences and present their papers.
• University examination results of the institute have mostly remained higher than that of the results of the University.
• Interactive learning through assignments, seminars, MCQ tests etc.
• College initiated many activities like No Plastic Zone, Installation of Solar panel, Cleanliness drive, Tree plantation week celebration etc to promote environmental consciousness in and around the campus.

• A well equipped library with a good collection of standard books and journals with a space for reading, where 50 students can be accommodated at a time.
• Assist students in availing financial scholarships from Government and management.
• Guide students for competitive examinations, placement and career counselling.
• Cultural activities, sports activities and celebrations for holistic development of the students.
• Applying for the Centre for Excellence status as the ongoing process of self-evaluation and quality improvement.

The institution is engaged in an ideal and noble profession of imparting higher education. The aim of the institution is to provide opportunities of education to all students, irrespective of caste, creed, and religion. The institution aims at giving access to education of good and standard quality to the rural and agricultural students of the area. The subjects taught in this institution are mainly connected with Arts and Commerce Faculty. These subjects inculcate the values such as India’s cultural heritage, impartiality, democracy, secularism, equality on the basis of humanity, protection of the environment and above all removal of social barriers. The institution aims at creating peaceful co-existence among different sections of society. It provides access to equal opportunities to the underprivileged students. In short, the mission of the institute nothing but the creation of a society free from prejudices and complexes transmitted through the social environment and the accident of birth.

To initiate and manage research oriented activates in the field of literature, culture, life-sciences, social work and environment & disaster management with the global trend in view in the context of local requirements.

To bring out multi-faceted nut latent talents in students to help them in self-assessment and the realization of their responsibilities and independence to utilize their knowledge and skills for the reconstruction of the strong link for national uplift and integration.

The decision- making process, tactical development and collaboration are the factors responsible for the institutional success and well-being. The members of the Management, the principal, Heads of various Departments, junior clerks and Convenors  of Committees play vital role in the entire administrative process. The vital decisions concerning academic and administrative issues are generally unanimous and collective. Each bodies or units of the college are involved in the decision making process.
